1:- In-depth knowledge of plastics, plastics processing (Compounding and molding) & Knowledge on pigment, UV stabilizers, Flame retardants and their use during compounding stage. Effect of additives on properties of polymers 2:- Viscosity measurement for polymers, Hands on experience on twin screw extruder and molding machine, Effect of screw profile on mechanical properties, Characterization of polymer based on DSC, TGA, Hands on experience on mechanical properties measurement by Instron, Impact tester etc. & Trouble shooting with injection molding 3:- New product development based on the customer requirement, Utilize material science and engineering plastics principles to develop, identify and evaluate polymer compounded products, Work with team member to develop a new polymer compounded material & Produce accurate report and results and contribute new findings to development projects 4:- Operate an extruder, injection molding machine, and perform lab testing, Characterization of NPD grades using internal standards prior to dispatch of new grades, Trials at customer end, Resolve the processing issue of new product development, Guide line for first commercialization run & Material balance for NPD grades 5:- Prepare data base as per the applications
