  • We only deal with office-based work; therefore we guarantee that you will not be compromised by offering you alternative work in other sectors. You can be assured that your Consultants will concentrate on finding you assignments that match your initial requirements and skill-set.
  • Your Consultants are all professionally qualified and are individual members of the REC (Recruitment and Employment Confederation) which is the Governing Body for our Industry.
  • Should you be looking for permanent work whilst temping we actively support your applications and will arrange suitable time off for interviews etc.
  • We also offer temporary to permanent opportunities in the local marketplace.
  • The minute you start temping, you will accrue holiday pay, which is currently 0.38 days per week. This will be paid to you the week following your time off.
  • Temping is great if you are looking for flexible hours of work to fit around your personal circumstances.
  • We offer long and short term assignments and anything in-between, and pride ourselves on paying top rates in the local market.
  • We have developed some very strong relationships with local businesses ranging from small privately owned companies to larger blue chip organisations.
  • We offer training on the latest computer packages to either enhance your skills or cross-train you on new packages. This training is always free of charge.
  • We promise to treat you as an individual and not just another “candidate” and will always listen and respect your point of view


What to expect from us?

Shivam Placement Consultancy payrolls a successful and diverse temporary division covering assignments from one day up to a year in duration. If you are looking to temp as a change of career, looking for a less pressurised role or simply a complete change of direction, we can offer advice and assistance for you on your new chosen career path. As a candidate looking to temp you can expect to receive the following service from our trained consultants:

  • an initial conversation with one of our consultants and upon receipt of a current CV, you will be invited to attend an appointment at one of our offices.
  • The format for this appointment will be an informal interview to clarify your requirements / availability.
  • You will also be asked to complete computer evaluations on relevant software such as Word, Excel and general keyboard abilities.
  • Should your skills need updating, we will be happy to offer computer based training free of charge.
  • We will speak to you about temporary assignments tailored to your specific requirements. We pride ourselves on our ability to listen to our candidates and therefore will only offer you assignments that are suitable.
  • You will need to provide the following information in order to pay you once you start your temporary assignment; bank account details, national insurance number and details of referees to cover the last two years.
  • Once we have confirmed your assignment, we will issue your temporary briefing pack which will include all the details you will need to start your temporary work.
  • We will continue to keep in touch with you throughout your assignment and will actively encourage you to call us and let us know how you are getting on.
